Did you know that
almost 70% of the world's cocoa is grown in West Africa? Did you know that
most of the children who harvest cocoa beans there have never seen or enjoyed
a chocolate bar?
One U.S. dollar from the sale of each copy of The Chocolate Story is donated
to the International Cocoa Initiative (ICI), an organization dedicated to ending
forced and child labor in cocoa growing in West Africa, where 70% of the world's
cocoa is grown. The ICI will use the funds for a "microproject" that will help
